Hey everyone! I hope you're all doing well and having a great 2016. ^^ As I'm sure you all know, this year is Pokemon's 20th anniversary! And many exciting things are happening, what with Pokemon Go, new Alolan forms, and the release of Pokemon Sun and Moon. But did you know that this year is a huge milestone for something else Pokemon related?
This year, Poke-fanclub turns TEN YEARS OLD! Can you believe it? It hardly seems like deviantart itself should be that old, and yet here we are. Ten years ago on September 27th, a group was born that was destined to become the biggest and best on dA!
So let's celebrate! We have great activities planned for you guys, including:
A fall celebration themed PokeSwap starting soon!
The ongoing Super Group points raiser!
AND a LIVESTREAM on September 27th to celebrate PFC's birthday!

My name is Alex, also known as SapphireFlora (https://www.deviantart.com/sapphireflora) ! I’m happy to announce that I have been chosen to be the new Champion of Poke-fanclub (https://www.deviantart.com/poke-fanclub) from here on out! :)
This group is a wonderful community of talented artists and passionate Pokemon fans which is the reason why I decided to step up and become the Champion and I’m very excited to lead this group into the next generation of Pokemon. Just wanted to update you on what is going on with the group. We recently have had a turnover in staff, so things in the group have been slow. However, we are now starting to get back up to speed. Unfortunately, some submissions expired during this time of transitioning, and we are sorry for that. Please resubmit them, and we will go ahead and get them into the fan club galleries. Right now I am just waiting on two more admins to join the team before I go ahead with formal introductions, but you may have already come across some of them. - Must have a good knowledge on Pokemon. You don't have to know every episode or play every game, but you must be able to keep up with any new Pokemon games/species/events that comes out.
- Discord account is highly recommended since we communicate primary through there.
- Be aware that we do frequently receive mature art that must be dealt with. It's the nature of working an online art
